So many friends so little time...

I love that Ryan & Owen have so many close friends. It is so great for them to grown up together and learn together. I was such a boring person before I had kids. I only had a few friends and didn't go out very much. Now I have to schedule people in. How do a 3 yr old and a baby have such busy social lives? It's crazy!!! There is so much to do and see and everything is a new experience to them. Today we toured a grocery store and they thought it was the greatest thing ever. I need to take a lesson from them and make sure I enjoy all the simple things that are so much fun when you are with friends.

4ht of July

Another crazy day!

It's 4th of July weekend and I am at home with the kids for 5 days this week. Because of the holiday I am staying home. I hate crowds, especially with little kids. They always seem to get trampled! I did however venture out yesterday. I should have know the day was going to be crazy from the time I woke up. I had to wake Ryan at 9:30 and needed to be out the door at 9:45. Then he wouldn't use the potty. Finally got him to go and got him dressed. About to walk out the door and Owen spits up all over the place. Change him and finally we are on our way. We went to the Wiggly Play Center with the collest mom's group ever, Metro Mom's. We always have fun no matter what the event is. I got there and had to change Owen into his outfit. I have learned my lesson and wait until we get where we are going before dressing him if I want him to wear a certain outfit. Then I had to put Ryan's shoes and socks back on. For some reason he always finds it necessary to take them off while we are driving. I get Owen in the front carrier and we head inside. Of course it was crowded being a holiday. Owen was upset and didn't want to be in the carrier so I had to hold him. Ryan kept running off. I finally managed to order food. While we ate they did the raffle. With the day I was having I didn't expect to have good luck, but I guess all the insanity was worth it because I won an awesome stroller!!! I thought maybe that would change my luck for the rest of the day, but when I got to my car I realized I had left the back of the van wide open for almost 3 hours! Lucky for me I had put my stroller in the garage the day before so nothing was missing. And with the mess in the back I think most people would have thought first before daring to go in! The rest of the day got better until the fire crackers started to go off. Ryan was screaming and the dogs were freaking out. And it was only July 3rd. It is not going to be a good night tonight!
