Potty Training

I guess potty training is also a phase. I hope you only have to go through this once per child anyway. But this phase has turned out to be very entertaining. Other than constantly following my son around to see if he is going to do "the pee pee dance" because he is not at the point where he will actually tell me he has to go. We keep an Elmo potty in the back of our van. He is good at going in public bathrooms, but there are some I just don't want him sitting or touching anything in. So we were in a parking lot at one of those places and he was trying to go on the Elmo potty. There were people walking by but we were blocking him as best we could... not that he cared. When he didn't have to go we told him he was going to have to hold it until we got home. He jumped off the potty, stood up with no pants, grabbed himself and shouted hold it like this???? We laughed the whole way home.
